Game Server Manager
Use the workspace 游戏服务器 (Game server) view to inspect an existing server, players, and settings. Chat can also manage Minecraft players, items, and saves.
Get started
- Install and enable the plugin for the intended account and workspace.
- Confirm the Linux amd64/arm64 node is online, the container can execute commands, and game server software is already installed.
- Open 游戏服务器 as a workspace operator or platform administrator. Read-only members cannot run queries or edit settings.
- If Python is missing, click 安装 Python (Install Python) and wait for the background task. Python 3.11+ is required; automatic installation needs network access and a supported glibc 2.17+ or musl image.
Closing the page does not stop submitted Python installation; reopen it to check progress. Preserve the /workspace volume when recreating the container.
Available information
| Game | Features |
|---|---|
| Minecraft Java | Overview, players and saved inventory, mod files, server.properties settings |
| Source | Status, players, and cfg/server.cfg settings, including CS: Source, TF2, L4D2, and Garry's Mod |
| Source 2 | CS2 status, players, and cfg/server.cfg settings |
Detection checks standard game layouts in /workspace and two directory levels below it. When multiple candidates exist, the plugin selects a uniquely identified running Java or Source server in the Workspace. Check directories and the startup command if the running server cannot be identified uniquely or no server is found.
Save data reflects its last saved time and may differ from live state. A mod file does not prove it loaded. Source queries need the container's UDP query port; no public management port is required.
Edit settings
- Open 配置 (Configuration), find the setting, and enter edit mode.
- Save your changes. If another operation changed the file, reload it before editing again.
- Restart Minecraft for ordinary settings to take effect. Reload or restart Source according to the game. Saving does not perform these steps automatically.
Source supports existing common, simple settings. Use File management for complex or duplicate statements.
Get fuller Minecraft status
In 概览 (Overview), open the RCON prompt, click 启用 (Enable), and confirm restart. Players will disconnect briefly. Afterward, check that RCON shows 已连接 (Connected).
RCON provides fuller live information and supported Paper/Purpur performance data. It does not require a public RCON port. If settings were saved but restart failed, inspect workspace state before retrying.
Manage Minecraft through chat
Type @ in the workspace conversation and select manage-minecraft. For example:
Show Alex's Ender Chest and the save time. Preview any changes before applying them.
The assistant checks player identity and game version. Save-file changes require stopping the server, previewing, backing up, and verifying writes. Live actions use supported server commands. Review the impact on players before allowing downtime.
Individual file backups are stored in .gamex-minecraft under the game directory; ask to preview a restore. They do not replace full server backups and are not cleaned up automatically. The plugin does not automatically upgrade worlds or install mods.
Common problems
- Information unavailable: check operator permissions, node connectivity, and Python version.
- Incomplete player status: check RCON and save time; unknown does not mean offline.
- Source query timeout: check that the game is running and its container query port is reachable.
